Eco-friendly packaging is getting more attention in the market as the awareness level to sustain a healthy environment in Malaysia is higher – liaise with the movement by the government to reduce single-use plastics by the year 2030. Most of the food manufacturers now are switching their packaging to eco-friendly packaging, or biodegradable packaging, to reduce packaging waste in the environment. One of the key features of eco-friendly packaging is by using material that can be recycled or reused.
